Couple of years ago I was stung. I was 17 miles in to a 20 mile run and the bee managed to sting me inside the front of my mouth. It was sore and felt swollen. Luckily when I finished the run I just looked like an unfit person who had been for a run. Lesson learned- try to keep mouth closed when running!
Usual reasons -work, study and family commitments. Just got a treadmill so even if I cant leave the house I can still run. I'm determined to make time for regular running, aiming for a running routine rather than building up distance.
As someone who is getting back into running this looks like a great challenge. For me the challenge would be ensure I kept up the mileage throughout the whole year at a steady rate rather than going crazy in the first couple of months then doing nothing.
