How great to be joined by some new folks at this time of year. I hope you all manage to be there for GNR 2014. It's the most amazing event with the best atmosphere of any that I've done. Wouldn't miss it for the world.
Sad time in Mick the Mackem's household I'm sure. Their second Christmas without him. Thoughts are with them.. But as others have said, he has left us with such inspiration and encouragement through the words he shared. How many of us regulars don't think of Mick when the going gets tough during a run? I know I do. His words drive me on, and it makes me chuckle to myself too. "Character building" - thanks Mick.
Signed up for next year £50 but still has to be done .
Stoxy, sounds like quite a busy year one way and another.
Old Shadowfax - The other runner must be so gutted that you held them off. They're obviously trying to keep face. Sounds like they failed.
Bearsted congrats on the 3 year commitment
mr sj - as Vixx says, stick around anyways. I haven't run since Great South Run. Don't think my mojo is coming back til spring - unless Father Christmas brings me a Treadmill (and a shed to put it in!)
