all i can offer is to put on yourtrainers and get out there and you'll soon remember just why you love it. It's the actual effort of doing it that; seems to be problem? When i first started running i used to lay my clothes either beside my bed as i got up 9stil do!0 or get home from work and get changed and go straight out again, only way i'd stop myself from turning tv on and faffing around |

no it wasnt advertised over there but we do still have loads of people who still subscribe here, i still get regular emails for instance, and still get the mag. to be honest, a competition is just that, anyone can enter, so anyone can win. What i read from the situation in reading back was that newbies werent welcome here or shouldn't dare to take a place from a *regular* , quite sad really. Maybe the new people didnt enter ballot as they didn't feel confident enough to enter a marathon, but when they saw the comp they knew they'd have expert help etc and maybe it gave them confidence to enter? I know i said i'd never do a 10k, let alone a half/mara/ultra etc etc, it just took a wee push and a bit of a confidence boost. The poor people on here who were new will probaby run(or perhaps walk?) to the hills now, Oh, if any of you are reading this , new people are welcome on fetcheveryone.com...... |
