all i can offer is to put on yourtrainers and get out there and you'll soon remember just why you love it. It's the actual effort of doing it that; seems to be problem?

When i first started running i used to lay my clothes either beside my bed as i got up 9stil do!0 or get home from work and get changed and go straight out again, only way i'd stop myself from turning tv on and faffing around

no it wasnt advertised over there but we do still have loads of people who still subscribe here, i still get regular emails for instance, and still get the mag.

to be honest, a competition is just that, anyone can enter, so anyone can win.

What i read from the situation in reading back was that newbies werent welcome here or shouldn't dare to take a place from a *regular* , quite sad really. Maybe the new people didnt enter ballot as they didn't feel confident enough to enter a marathon, but when they saw the comp they knew they'd have expert help etc and maybe it gave them confidence to enter?

I know i said i'd never do a 10k, let alone a half/mara/ultra etc etc, it just took a wee push and a bit of a confidence boost. The poor people on here who were new will probaby run(or perhaps walk?) to the hills now,

Oh, if any of you are reading this , new people are welcome on fetcheveryone.com......
