I think you would look ridiculous doing these in the middle of the office

I said never again after suffering such severe cramp following the water i had to rest for 10 minutes and walk last 2 miles. However, I am thinking I probably will do it again and just go for it rather than queue next time so I can get out quick. Having never been in an event like it before I didn't know what lay ahead so was over cautious.

Im going to do hell in the middle in february if all goes to plan.

Well I went for a run today and all was going great until about 3 or 4 miles in and my knee went again. Sharp pain mainly on outside of my left knee and knee is clicking when I walk more than ever now.

Gutted i'm out of the event now and will have to see a specialist.

Good luck to all competitors. I will be there to support my mate who is running and all other competitors

This week I have completed 2 short training runs without any pain in my knee. I will be going for a longer run in the hills Sunday and if I get through that ok I am back in the event. Fingers crossed...

Cheers for the advice guys. I gave it 10 days complete rest and it returned after 10 minutes. Doesn't hurt at all now but it does click/pop quite often when I walk.

I will rest until a week before the event and try again. If it is ok I will run even though I won't have had the best preparation. As long as I complete time is not important.
