So pleased Amelia was able to be a bridesmaid Noggs
(((( Podds )))) ending up on the floor isn't nice! (((( DG ))))
well done on the 15 miles Daffy
Sorry about the shirt Meldy Cats and laminate combined are made for impromptu sliding and skidding paws! Oskar being much bigger than Tia often sails straight past her!
Survived the dressage, no wardrobe malfunctions. One brief moment on the left rein when Megs thought about jumping the arena boards and our canter was rather onward bound! 4/9 with 65.25%. Third place was 0.5% higher and the winner just over 67%. Not done any dressage for about 6 years! Megs and I have a combined age of 71 so well chuffed! Bringing her home later today Took the Little Ponies and Blue for a walk up the Glen yesterday They don't clip clop, they pitter patter
Wibbling about dressage comp tomorrow - valid reasons not to do it as follows -
black jacket does up but I can't breathe. Tweed jacket fits but clashes' horribly with jods. Collar of dressage shirt is acting like a tourniquet on my neck. My one pair of gloves are for the same hand. Megs prefers to jump and may improvise and jump the arena boards. I'll fall off and she'll eat the flowers. I don't like cantering. Megs would rather gallop. I've already forgotten the test!
Completely understand Podds, but you know exactly what you're doing looking after him (((( Podds and DG ))))
Our day started well - Mr Tubs decided to let take the ponies out into their paddock this morning. They have a small area to graze so as not to get too fat. Mr Tubs decided that a lead rope round their necks would suffice. Result - two ponies thinking it's Christmas, knee deep in grass, me running round in my pink elephant night shirt and wellies, and several traumatised neighbours. Two miffed ponies now in paddock and I now have my knickers on!!
Cripes what a day. Impromptu visit to Liverpool via Manchester as no seats on Liverpool plane, but fortunately eye is ok and not rejecting as feared. Trying to get animal care sorted at 9 this morning was fun!
Hope you're now home and tucked up with the DG Podds The video footage of Thandi when found really brings home just how incredible it is that she not only survived but is living a normal life. not long until her calf arrives Will Fawlds cares so much, he was heart broken when Themba died. I am very proud that he has one of my rhino hats and wears it when darting rhinos from the helicopter as his head gets really cold
