i had to abandon my run tonight due to childcare issues...so will do a long run in the morning..haven't gone very far this yeqar in months apart from the one 13.1 miler at the diy ironman so might try and make it a long run/walk one
I would choose trail shoes every time .walking boots are heavy and uncomfortable to me.......
but i would make sure that you have waterproofs packed..but i don't find that necessary for your feet at all......good socks like merino wool ones that dry quickly are my choice
great report Mouse.....you worked for that one and really deserved it........
30k on an old mountain bike in hilly area is a great ride.....
go to the tri club.....it will really help motivate you and help you train........
if you felt comfortable then you weren't going flat out were you
which part of your marathon were you going flat out.remind me.......
