I did this race last year in prep for Edinburgh, great race and not as hilly as other people said it would be. Now doing the Yorkshire Marathon in October, so i'll be entering this aswell as pretty much perfect for that also.

Will there be a 2013 Event?

Just looked at entering the Leeds Half Marathon, but I am astonished at how expensive it now is (£26/£28). When I last did this in 2011 i'm sure it was only about £17 or £18. I cannot see how or why it has gone up so much (roughly 50% increase) in just two years.

I now won't be doing this race next year. I know it is part of the Run for All races and the proceeds go to charity, which is good, but what does everyone think of the price? I think it way too much.

There are better half marathons for a lower cost.

I've entered for the first time. Also first time doing anything other than just running. Looking forward to it.
