Hi, Can anyone help besides tell me to visit a podiatrist. Did FLm last weekend and although struggled round thought was ok until the that night when the top of my foot started to hurt. I thought that maybe it was where my laces were to tight and it would go but over a week later it is still very sore and swells after being on my feet for a while. Have tried rest, ice elevation etc but still there. Have also noticed that have pins and needles sensation under my toes. Any body any ideas what it is or how can treat.
just got back from holiday and see this thread still going. I entered this event for the same reason to get a gfa place at london. I also have received a gfa form from london as i sent off immediatley i got back from blackpool before all this debate started in earnest. Would be interested to know if this will be accepted suppose the only way to find out is by ringing London marathon offices. Any ideas anyone.
How can anybody doubt what the organisers and UKA say. Surely you have to accept what they say or you would never be able to compete in another event because your times/distance or positionare all ratified by organisers.
Hilly. If people are running faster than you expect them to maybe they are training a bit more than you. I was suspect of the distance in the beginning but give credit to all the training and preperation people have done and accept that it was a flat accurate course with near perfect running conditions except for a bit of rain.
well done all no matter what time you did PB or not!!
had a good run but as with many others it seems my garmin measured the course .8 less than full distance. would be interested to know if the course was accurate coz wanted to use time as a good for age for other events. Other than that was impressed with organisation and support considering the weather was great so would definatley recommend it to others. Well done to organisers and all runners who completed no matter what time fast or not so fast.
