J8 - I haven't entered Lakeland 50 - too "runnable" for my liking
my Lakes-focus for next year is to train over the winter to be "BG-fit" by about April/May, then wait for a decent weather-window and attempt on short notice with skeleton/no support - whatever happens I will use my fitness to have a decent stab at the Lakeland Classic series (and maybe OCT again)
mort/CC - Good Luck getting your car over Edale Cross and down Jacob's Ladder!
if this forecast transpires, I will be one happy bunny:
Variable, often large amounts of cloud, but mostly dry. Some patchy drizzle/hill fog possible at first, especially over eastern areas, but bright or sunny intervals likely to develop through the day. Winds moderate easterly."
got up early - looked at rain - extra couple hours sleep, then listened to Danny Baker on radio... rain stopped! off out to Lyme Park - 3 hours of hilly fun - even saw motorbikes trialling on side of Sponds Hill - usual amazing views from Dale Top and Black Rocks
somebody's had a bet on me on Fetch to do sub-14:30 on BS - it's a lock!
