anybody doing Eccles Pike on Wednesday?
thinking I might turn out, as not many opportunities left for summer evening races
7 1/2 hrs out round Kinder today - looking gorgeous bedecked in purple heather
The only Floyd album I still listen to is Wish You Were Here, although I do have Relics and listen to a lot of their very early stuff on youtube
Sabs' Paranoid album has become my fave of theirs over the years, but if you'd asked me 30 years ago I'd've said it was one of their weaker ones
euph - Wow! sounds epic - I've never done a multi-day of any description - bit tricky wrt family, but would love to give it a go one day - look forward to hearing your reports...
I have been resting on my laurels/unfocused since 10 Peaks, but have just entered Bullock Smithy as a spur to get my training going again
conversely, what about albums you're shocked to realise how dated/bad they are?
I nominate Pink Floyd's "The Wall" - listened to it recently... dismal... Comfortably Numb is good enough to stand on it's own merits, but other than that... deary deary dear...
