OMG - 3:15...!! I hope my theory of quicker times = more chance of getting through on the ballot is proved wrong then!!
I just got my third rejection but my husband and a friend of his got in first attempt. I put 4:20 as my target time (my HM is 1:55) and him and his mate put 3:29 (with 41 min 10km times - I can't remember his HM time - but sub 3:30 definitely achievable!).
Another friend got in through the ballot for 2007 first time with a predicted time of sub 3:00 - which he achieved with 55 seconds to spare!!
How I wish I was a speedy runner - oh well, I have a feeling it will be 2012 for me....
