New job appears to be going well but the new hours suck. The earlier starts have scuppered my usual early morning runs and finding time in the evening just isn't happening. Spent most of the weekend driving around the country picking up PP2 from Bristol airport Saturday and the other two days returning the MOL to darkest Yorkshire. Anyway, one week of work and then a fortnight at home decorate so will hopefully catch up on a few miles then.

Training gone slightly awry recently due too my new job at work. As from last week I have switched allegiances to the Dark Side and am now an acting manager. This means not only do I have to start earlier, but I can be placed in any delivery office in the OX postcode. As a result I no longer have time to run before work so awill have to switch to afternoons or evenings competing with family time. Ho hum.
Dibs, a black coffee at bed time does the trick for me for really early runs. Otherwise get a cat. As for a bike, set yourself a reasonable budget and look on eBay. It's very easy to spend a lot of money for no extra benefit.
Started off with a 4 mile progression eased off mile 5 a bit then 2 miles hard with 1 and a bit easy home.
