Mornicles. I hear it's butter together day - better get toasting
Hope the curry was a good un Far Too Fast
Lovely looking scenery there Westie. Wonder if Mid Wales in the rain can match up to it.
Only 13miles Daffers - surely that's pre emergency services but likely to raise at least one comedy moment and a surprise?
Spence speechless - there's a first
Welcome back M.eldy. Did the GPO miss you?
Minor miracle yesterday (other than Scotland deciding it wants to be connected to England). I went for a plod. I went for about 45 minutes. Decided, on a somewhat hilly route, to attempt to run on the down bits, added to which I stopped on a number of occasions to admire the views, then there were the down bits where I had to catch my breath. So I'm guessing I ran for a generous 20 minutes. Should I be logging my total on Fetch or Facebook or something?
Happy even older Farty Pants. Hope the presents are plentiful, the day fun filled, and the alcohol plentiful, but not of the hangover variety. Should you still be running at your age?
Liking the idea of Tubs out in the field with her hoover. I find it a struggle to manage the front room.
Hope you manage to hit the books today Chuggs. Housekeeping can always wait.
After the vote today I'm wondering whether I'll be called back to the homeland. Will I have to get a new passport? Or will I have been born in a country which may no longer exist? Maybe I too will be an asylum seeker - didn't see that one coming!
I don't have shallow joints (though my personality may suffer from such a malaise) however I too find I tire very easily when exercising. I find if I don't do the exercise I don't notice or worry about it.
Happy Thursday everyone, hope the fog lifts and the logs fit
Liking the retirement home idea - when can I move in?
Hills Podds? Small gradients, hillocks, gentle inclines!
When we camped in Aysgarth, N Yorks, most out our journeys involved part of the Tour de France route (in a car). Don't know how anyone could have cycled up some of them hills and they weren't classed as the most difficult. You and Noggs - barking - the pair of you, and FP, and....... well I haven't really got time to finish that sentence.
Hurrah for weight losers, early morning runners, leaf blowers or suckers (of the leaf and general variety), birthday boys, clothes piles waterers, the white legged, and any other categories which you may fit into or aspire to being part of.
(((Coco))) you do seem to have more than your fair share of ailments.
Yesterday's return leg on the train, was , as expected, fomenting of a disappointment. I have been spoilt and life will never seem as fulfilling again - well, when I say life, I mean train journeys - which is very much my life!
We are expecting FC3 next week. A 17 year old asylum seeker whose foster family are off on Hajj for 3 weeks. We're guessing he can't go without a passport. No alcohol for us for a while, and I'm thinking we should finish off the sausages before he arrives!
Happy Wednesday - possibly the last day of a united Kingdom.....
