((((Daffers)))) hope you find relief in a tube of something soothing - it was a good thing that you did.
M.eldy - this weekend we had a dead mouse delivered at 4.30 am and the gift of puke in the kitchen - you'll understand then, that I shall be declining your kind feline offer
Yums - I did wonder whether you'd have to go back to the beginning with everything in your job - what joy!
Podds - hope this week proves less medically challenging. Bad/good news on the lad but at least they know what it is.
Having run twice I, of course, came down with a raging cold this weekend. OH has had one and said it was barely noticeable. I spent two days with a waterfall coming out of my nose and eyes. I think it's an allergic reaction to the running!
Happy new week - hope it brings you something sunshiny and exciting
Good to see Chuggy is back on the map and the weeds are once again being tamed.
I am in a leafy village B&B. Having had an awkward breakfast making polite conversation with a businessman about the EU referendum I remember why I avoid B&B's usually. I did another run yesterday. This had rather a lot of hills which were barely staggered up, let alone run. My body is now telling me that I may have overdone things!
Good news on the recuperating mother front Far Far. Hope it speeds her recovery.
What modes of transport did you experience today Daffers. You're not replacing Tim Peake are you?
Sounds like you had a pleasant day Sluggie.
I have bought OH a present whilst I've been away. A humane mouse trap. Better than flowers!
I have just been for a 'run'. As I didn't pack my Garmin I think I am safe in estimating that I covered at least 10 miles. Admittedly I didn't make it to the village which is 5 miles away before I turned around but that's only because they moved it.
Happy trying to be sunnier but not really being overly convincing Tuesday.
Hope the bed sores clear and your Mum soon recovers Farty. Elderly parents are a worry.
Had a good time at the wedding over the weekend. It's not often these days you get the chance to dance the night away. They do however manage to drag these things out. Seems much time is given to getting the photos. I guess at the price it costs you want the permanent reminder!
First weekend away without FC so of course there was a little drama. All OK now.
Also reported that dead mouse was placed on the rug of sacrifice whilst we were away. This did not explain why OH was screaming at me last night and why I spent a fruitless hour trying to catch another one. It's all well and good having a cat but I wish she wouldn't bring them in to rehome. I am now away until Thursday, I wonder what will happen.......
Happy rainy new week. Hope it brings sunshine through the clouds.
