Even though you're a WAISTer and I'm a liberal lefty I'm not sure I'd want you on my bottom either Sluggie
~~~~~~Go Yums, Go~~~~~~~
I'm orf to the land of leeks and dragons, as opposed to the land of leaky dragons - I think. I'm doing a presentation about preparing for Estyn - it's like preparing for Ofsted, but you know they're coming.
Florida you say Tubbs? What time are we leaving???????
((((Sluggie)))) nice to know you're showering regularly.
Tablets often don't have all the standard connectors you need if you want to attach things to them. I think of tablets as things to play with - mainly surfing the net, playing candy crush, skyping - or that's what OH seems to do with hers. Use a laptop for everything else - though have recently switched to a smaller notebook style laptop - best of both.
((((Yums)))) - Can't give any great tips on speaking in front of groups other than it doesn't need to be scary - you do that all for yourself in your head. Try to visualise yourself doing it confidently as often as possible so when it happens it doesn't feel so new. I'm doing a day of presenting on Friday - I enjoy it as it's an opportunity to inflict my immense wit and talent on a captive audience . On the whole if you have been invited to speak, people are rooting for you and are already interested in what you have to say. When I speak people are press ganged into attending and couldn't give a monkeys!
