Yay Mini Yums, Daffer's sister and any other GCSErs that I missed.
The gerbil rampant gets my vote - obviously
Unsurprisingly I didn't win CDWM. I think it was fixed. FC2 stole the trophy. Outrageously I came 3rd. I'm hoping this means I don't have to cook again this week! I'm thinking a couple of days sulking should be about right..
All somewhat unsettling today as Social Worker came round yesterday to say they haven't found a placement yet but they want to move FC2 today. Don't tell FC2 so as not to upset her but then told her she won't need to pack until she gets a phone call today.
We may also be going to the vet. Blur of a kitten has been dribbling quite a lot. Unusual, unsavoury and un something else as 3's are always better.
Happy Friday - here's hoping today resolves a few things for a few people
Boozy cake at an al anon meeting ?? Happy anniversary
Yay to Essex parkrunners - hope you're going in fancy dress too
Guessing you'll be busy with GCSE day today Podds - do you get one really big envelope to open the day before!?
CDWM was a success, though I believe voting may be somewhat harsh from the teenage contingent . I think she's trying to rig it so she can win. I may have to sulk.
Went into her room to put clean washing on her bed. Having cleaned over the weekend it is already covered in layer of foundation powder. Looks like a crime scene that's being dusted for finger prints - really hoping it isn't.
She is due to leave on Sunday, but there are still no plans in place as to where she will be going. Welcome to the world of children's social services.
Happy GCSE results day - may the A*s be plentiful but of equal value to those given in the 1950's
(((((Snaily))))) If you keep doing the same you will get the same back - to get to different - something needs to change - not always easy. Hope the relies you want, move closer too.
Cheesy - you is madder than a mad thing. Sounds like a few others are planning some crazy execisey stuff too. Yums and Larry - what are you two up to then?
I like this listen to your body thing - mine has been saying 'don't bother running' for some time now - I haven't disagreed.
The weather will of course be getting colder - we go camping on Monday
Have been wondering about DG too
Last night was a success - FC2 was expecting me to wear the full make up etc. She didn't realise I would come as a 14year old boy -as you say - my usual clothes - in fact had to nip next door - don't think they had realised I was dressed for an occasion. Food was good and entertainment was the name game, lots of laughter. Tonight it's my turn - Dress code black or white (FC2 has limited wardrobe so my cowboy theme had to go) posh nosh and I'm always entertaining so no worries there then!?
Happy half way through the week - if we can just keep it together for a few more days there's a long weekend with my name on it
Not going on the telly- can think of nothing worse. We are doing DIY Come Dine With Me. Tomorrow it's OH's turn - we are having lamb tagine, chocolate Brownie and the dress code for FC2 is dress to impress, for me it's dress like a teenager. There will be entertainment too. There will also be scoring, but hopefully no tears. It's all go in our household - there's even been glitter
