Hoorah for the dental doggies and the clear x-ray brigade. Though the image of M.eldy was somewhat discombobulating.
Hope the knee soon improves Chuggie and that the menagerie survives your absence. Sounds like you have fed them up for the Winter.
I think I may be heading back to the doctor's tomorrow. Still not right, uncontrollable coughing has gone but lungs not clear and I am now deaf in both ears . Joy to the world. I don't do doctors so it's a bit hard to think of going again in less than 10 years!
Happy GBBO final. Not really bothered who wins this year.
Hope there were no fillings at the dentist yesterday.
Apprenticeships can be good but there are some right scams around. Also as a young person you lose out on all the student perks such as free dental etc but get paid a pittance. One of FC's friends was doing an apprenticeship at Super drug on £3.20 an hour. You used to be able to work in a shop without qualifications and get paid to do so.
Another day on the sofa trying to convince myself I am getting better!
Hoorah for long walks in the autumnal glory. Although not sure I could be tempted by anything with a 15 or 30 in it!
Hoorah too for rehomed houndies and (((())))) for dental doggies
(((((Yum's Mum and all elderly parents struggling with the effects of getting on)))))
Have had a weekend of discovering the effects of antibiotics on the digestive system. Have also gone deaf in one ear, still coughing, but pain in chest is subsiding. Should be better by Christmas then! As it's half term I can work from home all week and take it easy. OH is as smug as a person who is always right!
Happy new week full of sparkle and potential and bored kids wandering the shopping centres in search of thrills
*stands, mouth open, aghast, pointing at Podds and shouting "Unbeliever!!!!!"
Similar reaction to MC - surely it's pixie dust and dreams that cure cancer?!
Having used a topical corn preparation and herbal remedies, oh and ignoring things to no effect, I finally went to the doctor as I started getting pain in my chest. I have been given antibiotics. I went to work yesterday and they sent me home for being more unsavoury than usual - so I have admitted defeat! I apparently have a chest infection therefore confirming that OH was right all along and ensuring all remains right in the universe!
Happy half term for those of you where it makes a difference!
Ooh it's just like the old days - I am on a train.
Happy flat hunting Sluggie - thought of you last night. We went to a regularish quiz night which we go to when I'm home - so, not often, and we won! Hoorah and falderee. ??20 drinks voucher behind the bar for our next visit. Given that we have spent vat amounts on food and drink on previous occasions and will no doubt do so again, I feel it was more for the glory than any material gain!
Farty - I have an entry into the Tissington half I'm willing to sell you! If you wait until the week before I may well be begging people to take it off my hands.
Happy Bake Off semi final day. May your cakes rise and your jellies set.
