the media is important, though, as so many people's views are moulded by it, so to what extent an operation is deemded a success or failure is in large part dictated by the spin reporters decide to put on it.
it won't take long for the newspaper columnists to start criticising elements of what's gone on today...this Sunday's papers? possibly not, but by next weekend they'll be sticking the knife in, as they always do.
the cops don't get enough support, in this country...look at all the fall-out from the Forest Gate thing, the other day.
and if anyone wants to temper potentially harsh words with smilies, what's the problem? it's a courtesy...you're basically saying, "I am not calling you a c$%t, but..." | |
