I ran Cookstown on Friday evening and was happy with my run but have come out of it wit a niggle which is stopping me run. It's one thing after another just when I feel I'm making progress. Loads of stretching to do to try and free it up.
Now I've got Dervock and the Milk Run out of the way it's time to put my toe on the line and try a bit of racing. I have entered the 5 miler in Cookstown on Friday evening and hoping I do better than my DNF at the Bridges. I'm running better in training so keeping fingers crossed.
I heard a rumour that the course was short Martin.
Good to hear you back Littlest Hobo. Good luck with your debut triathlon.
Well done Natty and Martin on completing Dervock. It was a hot day for running but not as hot as last year. Sorry I didn't meet you Natty but Mags pointed you out on the pics up on our facebook page. It was a busy couple of days which really caught up with me yesterday when I had no energy at all. Now I have it all to do again for the Milk Run in Ballymoney on Friday evening.
Martin you can pick up your pack on the day from 8.00am or on the Friday evening 4-8pm from race HQ (New Community Centre). This year we will have showering facilities as the changing rooms have been finished.
You are not picking an easy one to start with. Good luck with training for Wall Duathlon.
