Hi All

Hopefully someone with a more technical brain that me can help - my Forerunner FR60 seems to be playing up.

When I click the mode button, the first data screen I get is time and distance, scroll down on that screen and I get heart race and pace/km and then finally after scrolling down again the pacing screen.

All was working well up to recently when the distance read out on the first screen refused to move from zero - however, the distance measure on the pacing screen still registers (and is accurate over my usual 10k run).

Not the end of the world, but annoying none the less. Have phoned Garmin support line who suggested changing the battery (did this in both the watch and the footpod), but this appears not to have cured the problem.

Any ideas - I suspect that being a bit of a luddite, I have done something to the settings! All ideas / help appreciated.

Thanks

C

ps - HRM syncs and registers fine. Also data transfer to Garmin Training Centre only registers time and no other data????

Hi All

Sorry for the dumb questions - got my first Tri on Saturday and still feeling somewhat lost!

Doing the sprint distance event at Dorney Lakes and can't find the answers to some simple questions on the event website.

 Hopefully you guys can help?

  • What time should I arrive?
  • How do I get set up in transition?
  • Do I get a swim cap or should I bring my own?
  • Where to I get changed into my wetsuit?
  • Can (pregant!) other half watch in comfort whilst I slog round?
  • Can I grab a shower afterwards or is it "wash in a can"?

Any help appreciated, nd good luck to anyone else doing the event.

 Thanks

Hi all

My FR60 is playing up - it won't display my run distance on the main screen, but it will show distance on the pace screen.

It also refuses to upload any distance data and only shows the time of the run - any ideas?

Only thing that I can think that has changed from the days in which it worked is that I have put the footpod under the insole of my new shoes (as opposed to in the laces).

Any ideas - thanks in advance
