Happy New Year to everyone! Haven't been on for ages as still not running due to injury. Been 3 months now and to say that I'm fustrated is too much of an understatement. But hopefully I can start sometime soon and my wish for 2013 is to just get running and enjoy it! It's only when you're off that you appreciate the benefits of running re fitness, club runs and camarderie amongst other runners. |

Well done to all yesterday in Dublin. I didn't have a great run as my hip was really sore from mile 18 and ended up walking a fair bit, so pleased enough with time of 4hrs 32. Perfect running conditions and great support from the spectators, with plenty of humour! Also brilliantly well organised and like Paul D I really liked getting the medal put round my neck, like a real athlete, lol. Belfast could learn a lot from here ! |

Congrats Kenny and well done to all recent marathoners. How's taper going for those running Dublin? I've developed a bit of an adductor injury in the past week which is fustrating - just hope it can hold up on the day! Icing, stretching etc at present. Don't know whether to try a short run before Mon or just rest completely - comments welcome. |

Didn't much like the first revamped magazine but thought would give it another month. Still don't like it! Seems to be looks over substance with many articles too busy and bitty with graphics, colours etc etc. Also find the font hard to read. RW, stick to what you do best - well written running articles which inform and motivate - and less of the gimmecky filler stuff. |

Yes Paul, would be lovely to get a morning like today. I've done it twice before and both were cold, bright mornings which were great. |
