Exciting job news TP.

I've said if I can't have a new house then I want a puppy.

I had a chat with the boss today and he's happy to let me take VS as long as he can replace me with someone out of the re-deployment pool.  Fingers crossed.  There are a few 'displaced' people who's posts were deleted and who are waiting to be slotted back into posts.  If nothing is found for them within 6 months they will get VS, but many want to stay, so here's hoping.

Caz where abouts are you living these days?

Congrats on your great news TP.

Yes our awol seller is back, but we haven't heard anything yet what that means for us.  Do we ignore the whole episode and assume the sale goes ahead?  Do we assume the have too much on their plates to cope with this at this stage and assume it's off?  Do we just sit here like lemons?  Will give them a week and call estate agents to see what's up now.

We've been looking at other places, in particular closer to Bath, like Corsham or *spits* Trowbridge, but most places in our price range are modern and characterless, and on these soul less "family estates" that just make my heart sink.

Cousin of mine found out during mortgage application that his wife had taken out 3 substantial loans in joint names, forging his signature on them.  How she though she was going to get away with that I don't know.  She didn't do a bunk though, she chucked him out, moved in her bit on the side who she's been spending the borrowed cash on and we hope, is living unhappily ever after.

Just Wow!!!!!

Morning lovelies.

Yes cheers guys it is all a bit unsettling.  I hope he's not found hanging off a tree somewhere.    Most recent thing was last night, his wife issuing an appeal.  http://www.thisisgloucestershire.co.uk/Wife-missing-Jason-Hook-issues-appeal/story-16721592-detail/story.html

We put our solicitors on hold so we don't waste money on searches etc if the whole thing may fall through.

Wow life all of a sudden has gone quite complicated in an overly dramatic way...  The guy of the couple we were buying the house from has gone "missing", i.e. proper awol.    Google 'Jason Hook Coalway' and you'll get links to the police missing person reports.  I wonder if they're up to their necks in debt and that's why they're selling or something??!  Of course that's just pure conjecture, but it doesn't half make things complicated now.    Hope he's found.  His poor wife must be in bits.
