I just ran a trail half marathon that had a technical course with a rocky terrain. I sprained my ankle VERY badly at mile 4 and had to 'crawl' for 9 miles.
Is there a technique for racing on rocky ground? How do I make sure I will not sprain my ankle again? Does anyone know of any websites with strenghtening exercises for train racing?

Should i do the marathon paced runs mentioned in the schedules at half marathon pace?
I am thinking of buying these. They are supposed to be "road to trail" shoes. Does anyone know how they perform on the road? Are they suitable for treadmill running?

I hurt my knee going downhill and have been resting it for the past few days. Do knee wraps/braces work? Would I be able to recover faster if I wore one?
