I am entered in to the Great South for my first ever race. Ive been training well since april and 3 weeks ago ran 8 miles. Since then Ive been ill with flu/cold bug type virus and all ive done since then is a 3mile run. I am as good as recovered but are my fitness levels going to be dramatically decreased or will I still be OK to attempt the run on Sunday. Should I do a long run this week or continue to rest.?
