Never thought of that May get an old T-shirt and put the time on the back and turn myself into a proper pacer Nasty hill at 11 miles 12% for half a mile so thinking may walk that bearing in mind the pace so will need a bit in the bank
FRC Hurty foot is a bit better worse first thing in the morning. Really want to run again (which is very different to last year) but not going to risk it until fully fixed. swimming and walking for now. Make the start line is already the most important thing.
Recovery was cold bath drinking a recovery shake. Lovely NOT but do think it helps. Food wise not very good just getting as many calories on board as possible as a Brewers Fayre that meant pasta/chips etc but I got that wrong. Over the 4 days I put weight on!!!! although I feel thinner so could be water retention I guess.
Only other comment for your friend would be the people. They are AMAZING and could not be more helpful supportive and once I new who had done 100s were more than happy to answer any questions I had however they are addicts. really hit home when the main topic of conversation heading to the start line on day 4 was when there next marathon is and for most the answer seemed to be this Sunday.!! Its not going to as a surprise for me to say Ive started thinking about the 100 club but I don't want to start chasing numbers
