Blimey missed so much

Sorry Ive been away but a very bad week. Not run since last Saturday when the pain in my calf which I have been ignoring for weeks became a REAL problem Feel its improving each day but very concerned I realise then sensible thing to do is just rest it until the day but thats so hard. Just to finish now feels like a massive stretch but also no in 3 weeks I wont loose much fitness. Anyway In going to start whatever happens so

Wednesday Emirates from Gatwick for me

Events- Will see how it goes but am staying in the Hilton

Acoops I always run on Christmas day makes space for the dinner!

Fido- Thanks SD has posted about it Im staying at the Hilton so will go. fancy a sign but like you say where would I put it ?

Start of taper today drop to 15 with no drink/gels to make it as tough as possible 2.10 and felt so much easier than MK on Monday shows what a difference the heat makes/ O had a recount Milton Keynes was number 26 not 25

Because it was very hot Susan

Well for the first time ever not gone sub 4 and proud of myself and happy! Milton Keynes marathon today in 4.06 Very hot and saw 5 people on the floor which is never nice ran at 9 mm until about 19 but think the heat and London were the issue so just backed right off. Was nice to have a stadium finish and feel good enough to run round the track waving at the crowds and just walk away feeling fine at the end So that's it maybe a half next weekend and the South Africa here I come
