Stuart you've got to be more careful where you walk!! Another cut, hope it heals fast.
Good swim NP? Sounds like a sensible approach for London - you can push on later in the run. Or just enjoy!!
Good sign that the legs recovered quickly CL.
Nice long run OH in tough conditions by the sound of it. Breezy here too.
Teknik great intervals, you really are flying right now!
Not sure if I should run tonight after 2 days but went out for a gentle trot and somehow ended up running a bit faster than I thought I would - run back into the headwind last mile was 7:10mm. Very fresh legs after 10 miles in 2 weeks!!
Well done Stewart, a good long run and a sensible decision at the end. Sound advice too, thanks.
NP dead right there!! Got a 72?? mile cycle next Sunday with the girl I was out with today then it's running til London. It's a route with a 6 mile incline allegedly. Happy with that just not looking forward to the ride home again!! But we will stop for a bacon roll or cakes at Fort Augustus.
Blimey Teknik that is terrible - pity you didn't get his number but worth telling the police in case the same happens to other runners?
Nice you got out HM4.
5 miles easy for me this morning and (touches wood) almost there. Ok it was slow but a run is a run! That was the warm up for 50 very breezy miles on the bike, out and back down the South side of Loch Ness so basically to the marathon start and back. When back in town the wind caught me broadside and almost went for a flyer twice on roundabouts, scary! Getting better on the downhills.
NP great, another long run in the bank. Nice strong one too with MP.
