NN I have never cycled alone - I go out with the cycle club on a Sunday morning for anything from 40-70 miles. I started on the bike when injured in the springtime then once I could run again the bike was dropped. Now back to once a week as it is so sociable. Frankfurt is the marathon that I am training for.
HM4 well done!
Stuart those are fast intervals but I know what you mean about losing speed.
Teknik that's a great interval session from you too!
MG1 sounds like our weather was similar. Not long to go for you until taper time. Just as the nights/mornings get dark.
An easy 45 minutes for me tonight. Counting the days until I head to the sun then once back it will just be a couple of weeks of dark/cold running until Frankfurt.
Teknik sounds like the weather will suit you better now!
jason nice double - again!
Stewart it's never just 11 weeks til Eddies!! I take it that's still the first weekend in November?
OH sounds like a plan and at least you can defer Snowdonia which is more than you can with Loch Ness!!
Nice WWI memorial Michael - great run at that pace.
Don't worry about the 20 Stuart, I normally do 10 over 20 miles but haven't done one yet and suspect I may not do many!
MG1 a good day's training.
An easy 5 miles this morning then some intervals tonight - 10 mins brisk either side of some half miles a bit faster. I am so bad at pacing that my last one was the pace I was aiming for! It was a fun session (once I finished! )
Oh gosh Jason that's not so good!! But I'm sure plan B will be as good as plan A!
Michael I was initially told it was a short duathlon then oddly it seems to have changed into a long one with a cycle in the middle of 2 runs. I'll probably get off the bike and collapse in a heap!
