MG1 great pace on the mile reps, I find running into the wind really tough.
jason you'll notice quite a difference, it seems to get dark fast at the moment. Really notice the difference at 5:40am since I only do one or two early runs a week. Amazing run there tonight!
dsr agree with the others, 5k between the long runs is not much but I guess if that is your usual week then fair enough.
Stuart nice mix of training there. Sounds like a plan with the intervals then easy run.
Teknik you had a good day's training despite the poor sleep. I couldn't sleep either. Never have a good sleep when getting up really early. A short easy run early on the some faster stuff tonight - 2 miles brisk either side of four half miles off 90s recoveries. The wind seemed quite strong on the way out but made the run back more enjoyable!
Stewart I have not a clue what that means but by the smiley face it must be good - well done! You got a decent day for it.
Fantastic running jason, I just love the high after sessions like that. Makes up for the feeling at the start!!
NP your low mileage certainly seems to be agreeing with you - must be all the cross training that makes a difference.
Teknik great to get a 20 done!
Stuart, NN and OH not long til Loch Ness now! I've not entered the 10k yet - not sure if I will....
Nice easy run yesterday MG1 and great month total.
HM4 hope you are back running soon!!
An easy day yesterday - cycled to collect the car after a night out. Hmm... cleats and driving don't work!! Then an easy short run and a lot of sitting in the sun . An easy 5.5 miles tonight. Totals for last week were 65.7 miles for the week (2 long runs) and 228.8 miles for the month. Also 135 miles on the bike.
jason that sounds like tough conditions last night, well done. Sounds like another tough one tomorrow!
Stewart that's a good mixed session. I've not been out on the bike now for 3 weeks and depends how the weather is for tomorrow. The Bealach Mor is on today so a lot of the club will be doing that - 90 miles and 10,000 feet of climbing! There's the Culloden cycle events in October - various distances....
Stuart, NP and Buddy, hope the parkruns went well.
NN that sounds like heaven after the long run. Great photo that! When I was in London in July I had a bit of carrot cake every day in that coffee shop!
Hope you have a great holiday Michael.
MG1 sounds like a great run for boosting the confidence.
17 wet and windy miles here. Only got properly soaked in the last 6 as it was dry at the top of the hill. Nothing fast, just all easy.
