Stuart that's a shame that the race didn't go to plan but well done carrying on with the hip injury. A couple of my friends did it - one who got 1:28 at Aviemore recently was just over 1:30 so it was a slower race without a doubt! Hope the hip recovers fast.
Stewart great report for Brodie. It was blowing a gale up with us yesterday so well done! Must have been windy at Ft Wm too Stuart.
NN that's a fantastic result in your 10 miler, well done!!
Teknik hope you are feeling better.
Lots more great running - OH good recovery from Snod and NP that looked a fun parkrun!
The ankle played up big time after last Tuesday's intervals and should not really have run on Wednesday morning as that set me back a lot - I never learn!
Spin classes, metafit and a great club spin yesterday have kept me out of trouble. Will try a short run tonight but it should settle by the end of the week, Just cannot build miles or speed without it breaking down. Feels like something moving around near the ankle joint.
Well done OH, great result at Snowdonia! Has anyone heard from jason?
MG fantastic run at GSR!
Gaz sounds like you are on target for your goal marathon time. Nice tempo work.
MG1 well done on getting motivated to get out - not easy!
Stewart good intervals and something to work on next time.
Stuart as soon as you pin on a number you will run faster, always seems a big ask in training!
NP good to see you out with the group again - that will be the super fast group you did your long runs with last year?
Weather rubbish here on Saturday so just a short run. On Sunday, first bike club run since February and typical that the fast boys turned up!! Ended up with the fast group and loved it. Cooking along nicely at 28mph on the flat, just an easy spin for the guys but a good workout for me especially when taking my spell at the front! Recovery run this morning and intervals planned for tonight.
Such a pain when the garmin dies NP especially when you want to keep an eye on the timing.
Great total MG1.
Gaz I keep an eye on HR as a rough guide but I just have to think about work and it goes up by about 20bpm so don't use it 100%!
Did something to my knee last night. It was dark and I may have landed badly but couldn't put any weight on it initially. Managed to limp back to the car. Seems ok now so hope it was just a twist or something short term. Plan was a run and turbo tonight but will see how it is.
That's a shame about your race OH but still good training banked!
Great pace on the mile reps Stuart. I did a few at a more sedate pace on the treadmill last night.
Stewart hopefully you will get onto the track tonight. I used to go there on Saturday mornings when nice and quiet.
NP great report and well done, I hope that the back is improving.
MG1 good session last night, I must do more core work.
An easy half hour yesterday morning - the first morning where everything was totally white with frost. The a treadmill run in the evening. Ankle no worse. An easy 45 minutes planned for tonight. I should also have a spin on the bike but will see how lazy I feel after the run.
