Just checked the photos on the website. I know there seems to have been problems but it seems to be working right now, the photo quality seems to be very good, you can see all my teeth as I grimace crossing the line! I was sure I was smiling!

I have 410 and the signal is excellent, no problems in wooded areas that I have noticed.

As most people say a gilet is essential, I just have a wind proof one, no need to worry about anything waterproof, it's pointless. I also use the helly hansen long sleeved base layer tops, these are pretty useful and will last years. Lastly, a pair of thin gloves and a hat, I use a very thin hat (like one you can wear under a bik helmet), it takes the chill off my ears without cooking my head!

Thanks Terry, you may have called my name out (since I was finishing almost alone) but to be honest I was breathing too loudly to hear it! Really good half marathon, must make sure that next year I have more than 16 seconds in the bank before starting the long slog up New Walk if I want a sub 1:30 time!

Warren, nice one, still a pretty good time. I did the half and was waiting for the first marathoner at the end, so I was amongst those giving you a good clap at the end, you look pretty comfortable. I remember you looking behind you about 100 yards from the end, the next guy was a good few mins after you. I was running the first 6 miles with the first lady marathoner, then we went our seperate ways. Maybe one day i'll try the full marathon.
