Superglue - i can relate about the chafeing. Some horrendous smelly bleeders have come up when you miss a spot. However, I have found covering them with some kinesio tape or rock tape after they have occurred has turned the unbearable into unnoticeable very quickly. Worth having a roll of it in your kit bag for the future
Steve_t, I've posted elsewhere on the forums a cheap and simple setup you can use with your garmin to extend it to 24hrs and beyond. Its comfortable to wear and it helps me keep an eye on my pace for the latter stages when that cut-off time comes looming Cant use watches that rely on pace, as my gait just keeps changing through the race!

Hats off for this DR, seems an interesting idea, an ultra version of those Rat races etc that keep popping up all over the places. Unfortunately it's a week before Thunder so not going to be able to make it, but good luck
