Well done to everyone for their efforts this weekend, just ran 6 miles in my lunch hour at work today taking me up to 27 miles for the week. Paris training going to plan now 4 weeks to go before starting the 16 week plan.
Me and RunningRaRa have entered the Longridge 7 pudding race on 8th December should be a good test prior to starting the training plan.
Sounds like it has been a good weekend of running, it certainly has been nice weather up here in the North West.
Great race on Saturday at the Rivington Trail half near Horwich great scenic course around the reservoirs and not as hilly as I expected, a nice introduction into trail racing.
Then spent Sunday watching RunningRaRa and everybody else in the Chester Marathon, looks a well organised event (apart from the carpark) I'm sure RaRa will be along when she's recovered to dissect her race.
Hi all, I'm new to the forum but you might know my OH RunningRaRa. This will be my 4th big city marathon and after Manchester this year I vowed to do a different type of marathon (sick of the clock watching for a PB). But as RaRa was entering I thought I might as well too.
But if anyone does know any good trail marathons for next year please do tell, still looking for that different experience.
