Hello everyone! Looking forward to this in October. I had to withdraw from VLM due to hamstring injury...it's healing now but been 7 weeks of little/no running. Boring! Sorry to hear others are suffering with injury problems- they really get in the way of training/racing dont' they?!Be interested to hear what races everyone is planning to do in the build up to Abo - Many thanks in advance and good luck with your training. |

Hey Siony! That's great news. Well done. So pleased you enjoyed yourself and that it all worked out ok. I watched it on tv! I'm in for 2013 and am waiting to hear if I have a place in New York in the autumn. Exciting! Happy running. X |

Hi Sorry to hear about your hamstring. I hurt mine in the Bath half and was unable to run so walked to the finish from mile 9...in 3 hours! As a result I am unable to run VLM... It's 5 weeks later and I've just been able to do my first 25 minutes....so a very slow process for me. If you don't have any pain that sounds good. Mine was a bad tear. Have you seen a physio? Take care |

Hi Stony, Good idea. I'm very disappointed not to be able to run this year, but know there will be other races to look forward to if I let my body recover... Best of luck!
