Sorry, Book Fairy. We chose January to help kick-start that post-turkey burn-off before the Winter/Spring ultra season. We chose not to run it in March to avoid clashing with 2 local events we love - The Blackminster 1/2 and Cleevewold. Both are great Spring marathon tune-ups, if you're looking for March races.
Sorry to disappoint, but there will be no space for on the day entries. A combination of enthusiastic advanced entry and a need to cap the field at 100 due to the unseasonally wet weather mean places will be filled before race day. We had hoped to allow a larger field, but it's important to look after the trails so they are still worth running on later in the year.
We hope to see you at other races in 2013 if you miss out.
Hi, Mr. F. It's a new event from new organisers (of which I am one) - have a look at www.facebook.com/CotswoldRunning to see how runners found our first event, The Broadway Tower Marathon & 1/2 Marathon.
