The one glaring omission is the longer run on the Sunday - I'm sure most will pick up on this. Needs to be around 10 miles to give you a good strength base for 5k. Possibly add a 5 x 1 mile session too to top up on the speed? on the thursday?
On a bit of a roll lately, won the Luton 10K and the Bedford 5k in the last couple of weeks and came back first in the first leg of the Stevenage relays. (the latter was very dramatic as they were called off after one guy had a heart attack - thankfully on the mend!)
Not won too many races previously, so it's been great. Let's face it, we all love a bit of attention and it does make you feel great, although better if tied up with a good finishing time too. The only problem I have is telling anyone that I won it, when asked - I can't seem to come out with it and mumble
Saying this, coming well down the pack at the BUPA 10k and doing a good time was just as satisfying.
