Good evening all (or good morning!)
Fortunately the weather has been kinder to us in NI in recent days (no snow/ice), than you folks are getting on the mainland, but I feel for you's!
Just thought I'd let you know I've put down a deposit on my first bike - a 2010 Lapierre Sensium 400. Cost me £1150 on sale - the 2012 version is retailing for £2699, so I'm a happy chappy! Now I just need to find a large grassy area to practise with clipless pedals… | |

@gastank - thanks for the thread recs - I'll check those out.
@VT'd - where did you get your 30week training plan from? Haven't any ideas on a bike yet, but going to get up to Chain Reaction Cycles this week to have a look at some. Budgeting ~£800 for one. | |
