indonesian food......nom nom nom very welcome after all my efforts on the track ha ha ! Some guys from my club gave me a shout on my first lap and they said the look on my face made them think not to shout out the next time round! I sort of rolled my eyes and thinking what am I doing here but it came across as 'DON'T CALL MY NAME!!!' ha ha ha, I 'm scary when I'm out of my comfort zone.....
LMH you never fail to amaze me!! Great report and great run - well done you!
Nice runs by the 10 milers yesterday
WP well done
Chicksta hope the over 1 hour run was ok
Dustin Hope you are enjoying the lazy June, I am mean to be doing so much more and yet again for one reason or another I just never do!
Dibs, look forward to that report!
I did a track 5k on Friday, idea was to go under 25 mins but as I had been injured for two weeks leading up to it I just thought I would go and see what happens and aim for under 27!, The gun went off and I felt sick and what the heck am I doing here with all these speedies!! My mate who was also aiming for under 25, shot off and after one lap of 1.51 I knew I could not keep it up. So the next lap was 2.04 then a 2.05. Thereafter I think they weer all around 2.14 which felt hard but manageable for me. So I finished last but not ashamed about that, in 25.26! Fastest 5 all year..
why: oh yesterday I did a long bike ride 54.5 in 4.16 and felt really good, lots of rain though which was not good
last hard: yesterday morning
last rest: saturday
Off to see Cleo in her first stage appearance in a ballet show tonight, bless her!
