I am also a bit cynical, and have logged my target for London marathon for a sub 3. The suggested plan is certainly different! Still using it to log my runs as it is good planner

Hi

I started with Asics then moved to the Brooks GTS8 then GTS9 , however, had the chance to try Nike Lunerglide, which I was convinced I would not like, I was positive I would be back on to the Brooks GTS, however Nike were superb, honest, now on the new Nike model Lunerglide 2.

You will never find a 100% shoe, so I found Nike nuetral to over ponating lunerglide top drawer.

Everyone to their own however just a thought.

No idea on wine  but sounds good, I think I will save myself for the champagne after!!!

First Paris and also first marathon, at present getting myself mentally ready for 12 week training starting in Jamuary!!!

Running for about 5 years now and felt the need to do a Marathon, why!!

Already booked hotel but easyjet flight not our until October, flying from Glasgow.

Seeing doctors Wednesday for a NHS wellman, and hope to get med cert, reading other forms seems hit and miss so will see how it goes.

Anyway, next race is Baxters Inverness 10k.

 Enjoy

Thought that would be case with Dr, as you say, see if there happy to assess basic fitness. It was the receptionist who was not sure, and thought it may require an expensive fitness assessment.

Look forward to more chat on the form.

Hi

Now entered the Paris Marathon, what is the arrangement in the UK for the medical cert, is it a straight forward ie go to doctors or do you need a full medical assessment?
