No picked up (White 3 hundred and something), no queue at all, expo a little thin on the ground, but will grow I am sure. Walked for miles with family around Brighton and the lanes visiting way too many shops, so perfect prep for tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great race tomorrow. Happy Running.

E-mail.!!!!!!! I have not received an e-mail. Maybe I am doing the Richmond - Oxford route on my own, and everyone else is doing a revised (drier) option. I have e-mailed James @ Centurion Running, so will hopefully get the e-mail. Should I worry!!!

Hi Cupcake. I have run it twice. You will need some grip and toe protection for the steep rocky parts, but also some cushioning as there is about 9miles of tarmac involved. I used a pair of Pegasus Trail +28 which seemed a good compromise on grip/protection/cushioning. If dry i would be confident using my Brooks Adrenaline road shoes, dont think racing flats would be advisable. And also I think the organisers say trail shoes are mandantory kit (this may have changed).
Enjoy the race, really stunning, and tough, just remember to keep the sea on your left

Map is mandatory Kit! I ran it last year, so the map is in my mind, does that count?? Last couple of runs at the weekend with full mandatory kit (excluding Map!) and bloody hell, it's a lot of extra weight. On the plus side, I will put some of the kit I am carrying on at some stage so bag will be lighter later on in the race = good thing. Too late to get anywhere near the training I put in for last year, so will just have to wing it and rely on residual fitness from last year!!!

I hope everyone feels fit and strong on the start line on 23rd, and try and enjpy it if it's your 1st 100, and those who have done 100's before, you know what you are letting yourselves in for
