Hi All

Been lurking around here for a good while.

A small question if I may:

I will be passing through London this week. Can anyone recommend a good running shop in the centre, where I can get some good advice on shoes etc.

Thanks

Is 3.10  a reflection on the declining standards in long distance running  ?

I'm a Brit , 47 with 3.08 pb , and 3.11 at London this mara this year. I would say 3.00 is good for my age - it's still my objective .

Morning all

Congratulations to those who made their times and commiserations to others , esp JBFAR

My time 3.11.17 -  a little disappointing , 1.32.41 at half, and 2.13.13 at 30k ,  2.36 at 35k so really lost it last few. I think with a bit of speed work, I could knock off 4 or 5 minutes.

JBFAR - you looked pretty good when I saw you, at around 3 miles I think - followed you for a mile or so - but at 6.36 a little fast for me. Sorry that it didn't work out for you this time, but there's always the next one
