I've done it......or better to say its done me !

Sleep deprivation biggest problem. and you certainly get the impression that this is a little different than the usual 100mile + Ultra.

Footcare of course is of utmost importance and I wouldn't recommend this race for non-Swimmers.

Well surprisingly I'm just about right to get out there and start doing some miles again. Its not easy not to run.

One thing I'd like to add which has been said before but can never be overstated was the superb commitment the Marshalls,Officials, Checkpoint Helpers etc put into this Race.
Many of the helpers were just not out there for 12 hour shifts but were helping out for 4 days straight with just catching a couple of hours sleep in Tents,Vans,Cars or even popping home for a quick shut eye and then getting back to the race with only the Runners needs paramount in their mind.
I have never ever seen such selfless commitment which goes beyond impressive.

I feel above all its these people that have made this Race the Great Race that it is.

What a Great Race !

Absolutely this Race has to stay .

A big thankyou to  all the,Organisers,Officials and Marshalls that were so truly dedicated in making this the best possible Race.

Was a suggestion of Runners being supplied with Baseball Bats as part of Running Kit.......I certainly wouldn't hesitate on using such on those Bastard Muggers should I be jumped.

Bombed out at 157mile checkpoint....feet trashed and although I've had worse not with another 90 miles to go. Will try to fix feet and be back for another try in 2011.
