The next great milestone
Posted: 12/12/10 19:19:15 15
Not sure whether my last message got through...

Just to say thanks for support and organisation, Alchester. Great race - and very wise to start at 11:00am rather than the original 10:30am.

Was feeling pretty low about my time - initially aimed for 41.50 but came in at 42.54.

Still, having seen results - 7th out of 53 in my age cat (SL) and 13th/145 women overall I'm pretty pleased

Great race everyone!

Massive PB for me - 42.53 on my Garmin (43.03 on finish line clock but I'm thinking chip time will be a few seconds less..)

Considering I came in at 47.something last year I'm pretty pleased with that.

Right, off to the gym to make the numbers up. Can't be just running 6.2 miles today can I?

Thanks to Alchester lot for support and organisation and also for the wise decision to start the race a little later due to frosty/icy conditions.

Hope everyone had a good race.

"The Next Great Milestone is back!!! I thought we'd scared her off..."

Are you being sarcastic or have you missed a trick?

I can't decide.
