Hey guys,

20mins on the treadmill isn't easy is it Em! I dont know how folk can prefer it to running outside, outside is sooo much easier!  Im not even going to pretend i know where on earth the intercostal muscles are  but i hope they are feeling better soon

Haha LL, no danger of me becoming a munro bagger, i hate hillwalking (sorry!!) but i do want to do a munro...just the 1!  we are doing a west cost of scotland and sky tour so it will be somewhere over that side.....not the inaccessable pinnacle though haha!  Well done on your cycle, it sounds fast to me too!  Thanks for the advice with Ben Lomond, i will have a look to see where it is on the map, hopefully its on the right side of the country

Hope your run goes well today Claire, did i read that right on your fb that someone did spinning with jeans on ?!

Well rest day for my yesterday and im extending it to today, with the clocks going forward last night i never slept worrying about sleeping in as i didnt trust that my phone close would change automatically...its not too bad sleeping in for work out here but we have an emergency exercise on a sunday morning so was panicking about being woken up with the muster alarm blaring haha!  Dreadmill again for me tomorrow though...then home for a nice run outside in the fresh air!

NV - sorry to hear your news also

Mark - good luck at the docs, hope he is able to fix it easily

LL - talk away about walking...i might be attempting my first munro in the summer so i might be needing your advice

BJB - keep coming on here and you will soon get some motivate...or a kick up the arse, whatevers required haha

Claire - you never know, maybe you friend is a bit nervous about not being able to keep up with you/run as far?  Oh no, hope your knee is ok for Sunday, will this be your 14mile run?

Well i went down the gym but had to stop running after 10mins, my calves were really tight and it was hurting too much, i think it didnt help that i had put a bit too much pressure on myself to reach 20mins again so i wasnt mentally there either or i probably wouldve ran through it, im going to google stretching exercises for my calves that i can do tonight and tomorrow then get on the treadmill again on sunday and see how long i can go for, im really disappointed but i know i can do it and will do it again

Morning everyone

So what is everyone up to today, anyone running?

Im going to aim for 20mins again but to be honest I would be happy with whatever i do as im starting to get tired as it nears the end of my trip....fingers and toes are crossed for 20mins though

ps.

NV - for lunch i had 2 smoked mackerel fillets, a bit of tuna, some lettuce and 10 olives....didnt think i would manage to get close to your suggestion while offshore but it just shows you!  Morroccan Chicken with cous cous for tea!

Forgot to say LL i am home from offshore on Tues, wont have much time for running this time home though as im off on holiday for 9 days (but i promise to do my best to get some running in!).  Im going to Paris for 5nts on my own then spending 4nts in Berlin with my bf (he is doing his padi course in egypt when im in paris) because im going to paris on my own i can please myself what i do....do you think its really geeky that one think i would love to do is to take my running gear with me just so i can say ive ran along the Seine...im there at the same time as the Paris Marathon so i will be able to go and spectate which will be brilliant!

Glad to hear your feeling chipper Em! There must be some nice places to run around up where you are!  My plan for today is rest, and go in and aim for another 20mins tomorrow
