| It was a lovely park and atmosphere - we were soooo lucky for the weather. I looked at the previous year's race photos and it looked like it had been rather rainy then, which must have made it harder going underfoot - pretty mud. The hilly bit I found very hard, but it's all par for the course! |

Ooh good luck Warren! Yes, not long now! I tried bicarbonate of soda, the other day, before a 5 mile run, and it really helps. Apparently the bicarbonate of soda neutralises the lactic acid which builds up in muscles when you exercise. It does taste pretty nasty, so I'm only going to give it a go before a race - a teaspoon in a glass of water an hour before you exercise. |

Hi, Anyone going to this one? It looks good. I paid, online on 7 January, for my husband and I to go, and haven't had an email or anything at all since, and no reply to my email regarding confirmation yet (I sent it about 10 days ago). Just wondering, do they send out email confirmation that you have a place (or places in my case) very shortly just before this race? I'm asking here, as I've had no reply to my email, as I say. Anyone know? Best wishes, Diane |
