| We 3 - I think it depends on your local PCT. MrAN told our GP he wanted the snip in early January and was eventually, after a bit of chasing, given an appointment in early April. A GP in the next town did it, in his surgery one Saturday morning, no hospitals were involved. You then have to wait weeks (10 I think) before you do the sample bit, which you have to do twice, a month apart (I think, I wasn't so involved in that part). Anyway, it was all done and dusted by September. I didn't realise it would take sooooo long. | |

Well done KT. MrAN had one done back in April. He got infected and then his wound wouldn't heel. It was about two months before he could run again.
Then he sprained his ankle and hasn't been able to run since. | |
