Hi all. I have not postedon here for a long time. Good to see the forum thriving. My running is really poor these days. Very slow though I did do 4 miles yesterday and to my credit ran the Glasgow Half Marathon in Sept though it took me 2hr 40m (some of u could walk quicker). I think I need to get a running buddy.
Well done to those of you who did the 10k at Strathclyde Park on Saturday. I did not book a place and was told to be there for 12:15 to be sure of getting a place. Got there dead on 12:15. Thought race started at 1:15 for some reason. Gutted that it did not start till 2:15.
Anyway, seeing as how I have had a rather prolonged forced absence from running,my aim of the day was to run the whole distance without stopping. Managed this and also, to my surprise, completed it in under an hour. Itmay have been my second slowest race ever but I was really pleased with myself.
