I certainly think so. I'd planned to do my first half for about 6 months so it was a big deal for me. When I got round and did a half decent time the elation was pretty overwhelming! You soon forget the burning feet, blisters, muscle pain, chafing....etc!!! |

I use gmap-pedometer to plan routes and it seems pretty accurate comparing training v races. There's now a cyclist setting on there too.. |

Some good shots there, thanks Jonathan. I still look like a zombie when I run though, can't blame you for that one! Website worked fine. |

Well done plodder, I did my 1st half last month, Liversedge, after 10 months running. I never ran over 10 miles in training, I ran my first 13.1 during the race! If you can do it in training then you'll be fine in the race, having like-minded people to run with and a crwod clapping you along works wonders. However, once you've done that one you'll start doing stupid things like apply for three more half marathons straight afterwards! I've done my 2nd half now and will have done 2 more by the summer. Feels great, you'll love it! |

| Just checked, nothing on there yet. I remember in the blurb we got with our race number it said something like "race results will be visible a few days later on www.circuit-days.co.uk..." Hopefully that means today at the latest?! |
