2003 achievements: New year's day, first ever run of more then a half hour! Swiftly followed by first 10k (43min), first half (Plymouth, 1.34), then June anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, 2 months hobbling, then back to bristol half in sept (1.52) and two more 10ks. Swimming up from 12 lengths crawl before dying, to 150 in a session followed by 10m run.
2004 targets: 10k under 40 mins, Half under 1.30, marathon in any time, first olymipc triathlon. Cycle from bristol to newton abbot.
2007 - ironman llantwit major! (bound to be one there by then....) |

8 miles friday, too much vino and beer friday night, 14 miles sunday. Funny looks while deliberately running thru puddles to get used to cold feet for sodbury slog on sunday...
I think we should have got Fiennes to join this thread...
swim 267.25 km bike 3401.32 miles run 3152.4 miles.

| more mile hats from startfitness (link on this page) are 4 quid I think, tho they used to send you one free when you spent more than 15 quid I think. Which was not bad. |

| Timex ironman HRM has been pretty good. Has all the lovely timex stopwatch functions and doesn't go overboard on the HRM functions. Is abit pricey but I got mine for £70 so thats ok. |

| Also Deuter bag has a nice yellow raincover attached...which is now almost mud and dirt coloured! |
