I have had this for a while now since the summer i'd say but has got worse recently. My achilles doesnt hurt to touch and when my husband rubs it for me its a soothing sensation. When i point my toes it hurts and it hurts to tip toe and i would say that i can't really stand on my tip toes properly. Its as if ive overstretched it rather than it feeling tight it feels overstretched if that makes any sense.
Emilys dad- my doctor was lovely and said that it was tendonitus and should stop running for up to 3 months he said he'd never usually advise anyone not to exercise unless he thought it was necessary. He was nice about but I dont think he understood that thats not what I wanted to hear
Today i went to see my docter about my achilles tendon and he says i have tendonitis but my achillies isn't swollen, what are the typical symptoms??
My pain is when i stand on tip toes (can't really properly) and my ankles ache after running and for the first few minutes of my run. I also have a little achey pain and stiffness in the morning and if i get up in the night i feel a bit like i'm walking like charle chaplin lol!!
I've been out for the same run round the block again tonight and i'm sure i was 5 mins quicker! I didn't propper time myself but i'm sure it took me half an hour on sunday an 25 mins tonight!! MMmm 5 mins seems alot to be quicker by??
I've heard about the running pram thingys and i don't think i'd like it. My husband is great and doesn't mind me going out whenever i want. I love running on my own too an i can just go for it. When i've been out running with friends and family, as much as i love them, they have held me back a little.
Plus i ache in the strangest places!! My legs are pretty much fine a little tight but its my stomache muscles that kill the most! Why????
