Looks like marathon training is coming to an end and taper madness will start.

Had quite a productive week 4 runs only short and a real nice bike ride today, my eye seems to be ok just taking each day at a time, wrist pains from the broken veins are 80% better and im starting to feel like training seriosly again, any good races to aim for in the next 16 or so weeks? off to look for a sportive to sign up to.
Well 6 miles this morning first bit of exercise since 17th Dec - great for clearing the head, I have lost so much fitness last year, not to worry will get it back slowly. Just having a cup of tea and then on the turbo for a bit.
Nice to hear trainings going well for most, Im sure you will be O.K Toby, and injuries are improving, really glad im not training for one or two marathons with the weather we are having.
Sorry to be away for such a long time, have had a real s**t time of it lately not done much biking or running may go for a jog tomorrow.
In the few weeks since just before xmas I have had flu, infected eye (may need surgery on) bust all my veins in my wrist, someone broke an ankle at work, another lad had a motorbike crash and may not be able to get to work again, just to round things off a good friend of mine lost his battle with cancer last night.
Anyhow will catch up soon have got my running gear ready for morning, but not really in the best of minds for a run.
