Hi Still not running. Guts still giving me problems and Docs not only finding and losing hernias, but losing scan results which means more scans. I don't know what it is, but I want it fixed. I'm trying other forms of exercise, weights, swimming, cardio workouts, HIIT, kettlebells. It affects 'em all to some greater or lesser degree. Running it's the impact. Cycling it's ok, till I get onto hills. Ones I'd have sailed up last year. Sorry about this guys, but after a lay off I figured it'd probably settled down and went for a test run. 100yds into a 1-2 miler it kicked in. I can run through it, but it's supposed to be fun? |

Only got 3 advance booked. 1, Belvoir 2, Grindleford 3, Yorkshire marathon I think theres a lass at Kimmy I can pass the Belvoir number to. I believe I owe her one as I think she's picked up my shirt from Brass Monkey (everyone gets one as it was cancelled) Grindleford. I might be able to get a taker. Theres plenty of Striders. (I not only entered the race, but also paid for the T shirt!) YM – keeping that as a target. |

TBH I'm pissed with missing BM (which I would have done anyway) and I'll probably skip Belvoir and Grindleford, both of which I've paid for. Which'll always grate with a Yorkshireman But if confirmed it'll answer a few questions. It's curtailed training a few times. I'm looking forward to getting it sorted and coming back faster. |

Nah. Guess it's been there a few years, just flares up. I think it got a nudge new years eve/day. I had a long very muddy and hilly club run and a totally new 30min DVD exercise session, including lunges squats etc. I'm now 100% that this was the gut pain that pulled me up at 18 miles at White Peak, 2 years ago. OK I went out too fast. But it was this pain, only more intense, that stopped me. I just put it down to the wrong reason. Speed session felt wrong from the start. I set off saying "this isn't good, starting with a stitch" I soon realised it was the wrong position to be a stitch. |
