Well done to everyone that ran yesterday, I can't admire you enough for carrying on in that heat, it was bad enough spectating!

We saw Noddy finishing in just over 5 hours, which considering he looked like he was struggling at the 4 mile mark was good going!

Robinson Crusoe must be the most mind boring book I have ever read. I only read it as it was the book we were reading at the book club I went to at the time and after struggling to the end I discovered that I was the only one that had bothered!

Human Remains by Sebastian Faulks dragged on as well until the last 1/8th where it sudeenly came to life.

Good Luck everyone, have a fantastic race and remember you have done the training so you are strong enough to do this, and most importantly go out there and enjoy yourselves!

I'm not running but I will be around the course supporting Godzilla and any of the forumites I see!  We will have a Quins Flag (quarters with grey, magenta, sky blue and chocolate brown) and a buggy so if you spot that you will see us!!

Just realised that I forgot to say that for clothes, I have found that H&M is excellent for casual stuff and do really nice under the bump jeans and Next online is excellent for work stuff.  I can't stand wearing anything up and over my belly so have found the under the bump stuff a godsend and I am still wearing the stuff i bought right from the start, as this area hasn't changed in size too much (although they are getting tighter now that my belly is slipping down again towards engaged stage...)

Finally, for stretch marks, cocoa butter is the way forward... get the strongest stuff you can (body shop does a great range), or if you want to get a friend to splash out the mammia mia stuff is lovely!  I was also recommended to eat avocados as the oils in those helps keep your skin subtle and having bacon and avocado sandwiches every saturday didn't feel such a chore!!

Ps MRF - it is still ages away for me.. well that is what i keep telling myself so hopefully it is true!!!
