Good stuff Dill, takes nothing away from it being a top race at the end of the day, well done to all involved. And it was great to see the police officer cheering everyone on too, don't think I've seen that in a race!

Unfortunately James, you are spot on. I came extremely close to going straight into what I can only call the plonker right in the middle of the road. I sincerely hope that none of the runners fell over that person. Doing this in what is a very congested start on a narrow street was reckless at the very least. I hope that the organisers please take note of this.

On the plus side, excellently organised race, marshalls were great and encouraging, water stations were regular and those manning them were friendly and suppotive, mile markers were all throughout the course and getting the race number before the event was quick and easy.

Lots of plus points to what is a very good race, but please don't try that stunt at the beginning again, if anyone got hurt I can imagine a claim would be winging its way to you!

Hi Chris,

Have race numbers been posted out yet for online entries?

Cheers!

Kinda with you on that Mugpunter - I'm sure that hill gets steeper each time round though

Looks like it's gonna be a chilly one this Sunday too, temperature looks ok but there is going to be that icy wind blowing in, probably around the back of RAF Stafford like last year!

It's one of those races you could call a 'proper race' no frills, nothing fancy, but it aint half rewarding when you finish.

 Good luck on Sunday!
