| First and foremost, I enjoyed the run and I agree that it was a friendly, local event. I was disappointed by the limited car parking space and lack of car park marshalling. I arrived an hour before the race and after paying the only 2 officials around, I found no spaces and some confusion. I eventually parked in an 'unofficial' place, after driving around and backing up for some while. I also thought the 2 ladies at registration were rather overrun and deserved more space and more help. I assume the race was a full 10K although, unusually, my Garmin Frontrunner showed slightly less. I've also seen no results posted on the Bexley AC webpage as I write which, in my experience, is quite late, even for a local event. Despite all the above, I would run again but I would try to enter in advance and arrive before 10 am for a 11 am start. |
