OH: Are you tapering? enjoy the darts today on that note I must book my Flu jab soon. They usually do it when I have my PA jab
I am feeling much better around 80% thank you so alarm clock set for 6am usually 5am but I rolled back to sleep then got up at 6.45am thought I am going for a run today so got hubby's breakfast ready and off I go.......
What: a run
Why: because I can
Last hard: all week
5.5 miles legs felt heavy and body aching but to be expected then last mile knee kept going from under me so stopped stretched /did knee exercises and got back home no idea why the knee problem but hope it goes away.
I am so glad most got pb's and enjoyed the experience
Sadly I just made it to hotel and that was all was taken ill over night and in fact still ill so no race gutted as made this my A race of the year.So had to get hubby to come and get me...so watched race on tv instead
Smitters: I saw a man pushing a buggy/pram so no idea why one rule for others?
Race never happened for me travelled to Cardiff booking into hotel and spent evening being ill which also happened all night so on 2 hours sleep awoke ready for race day preparations but knew my race was not going to happen cancelled cab to race rang hubby to let him know checked train times to find 45 minutes later he was at hotel to take me home.Still not well but feeling better than I was although extremely dissapointed I knew it was right for me.So 4 weeks time is WSM half will just jog around and see how I do and leave the pb chasing till next year
