| Hi, I've won a prize too, and not heard anything, trip to Malta. If it is me who's won then I'd like to get cracking with training and arranging flights before it's too late....... |

Not being funny, but why pay for one for the marathon then? Sure it's been done to death but IMO the UKA levy is "for the good of the sport". |

With regards to the race being unlicensed by UKA, do they still charge the £2 levy for unattached runners to compete in a race that they aren't licensing? |

| Great race today, well organised and better supported than ever too, didn't have a great day myself, wasn't far off losing my breakfast in Sefton Park but got it back together until my second wind ran out at around 11 miles. Still, a nine second PB. Have to agree about the 9m/m pacer being a bit quick, I was fair batting along as I tried to catch her and it took me ages. Mind you I saw her at breakfast and she wasn't half putting it away. Saw Cakey boy at the start, was brave enough to say hello, not a bad looking fella is he? Yorkshire you see...... |

| Ok then, low water on the Mersey is 1132Z on the 27th, so any ideas what this would indicate for the wind along the prom? I'm thinking water flowing out to the sea, so maybe a tail wind? You might notice that this has been playing on my mind..... |
