A 12 week build up is plenty long enough for a regular runner. Getting bored can be a problem as you've mentioned and you can peak too early.......
No injuries luckily...........just a lack of interest .
I may have got the racing bug again ? I'll find out after my next event..........
What can I plant as ground cover in a shady (due to tall overhanging bushes) border ?
This year will be the first race. It was due to take place last year but I can't remember why it didn't.
