Im about to start training for my 3rd Brighton marathon. And want to try and improve my time again. first 2 marathons were 03.:28:53 and 03:11:00. The marathon is in the middle of April, but fromthe 20th feb im away for 24 days,so am going to struggle to put in any long runs in that time due to where i will be travelling/working. Will prob only manage 3 sessions a week in this period.
Any suggestions on way to manage training before and after my trip would be much appreciated. Was thinking of putting some big runs in before and after,and maybe having a late taper of only 10 days and putting in some quality work in the second half of March.
